Marion's work entitled "I will spend my Heaven doing good upon earth…..I will let fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses". The Little Flower, was awarded Best of Show honors at the 2008 La Fiesta de Colores Hispanic Art Show in Grants, NM, which took place over the Cinco de Mayo weekend. Regarding the award Marion states: "I am deeply honored that my work was awarded this recognition. There are so many wonderful artists in this show, artists who are recognized masters and whose work I respect and admire. This award is a true honor".
